2000 Patrol ST GU Wagon 3.0 TD, Engine no Good.

Hi,
Looking for suggestions /advice. 220 082 klms on the clock when the engine "died".
Up to $10 g to replace with a new clutch, motor, labour. What do you think is a fair price to sell as is?
Bullbar, wich, towbar, lift kit are the extras on it.
If not where is a good place for a replacement engine? I'm in Mackay, Qld.

Makes a solid base to re-power it with say a 4.2td

For a tidy body, i wouldnt expect much more then 4k.

If it was me i would be putting a TD42T in it. Bloke at work just done it to his, similar situation, his was just over 10k with rego etc

As far as I know it was a second hand engine. They do come up fairly often of you look around

col, i was looking originally when sourcing my rig because i was looking at getting one with a blown motor and juist replacing and i found a few across nsw and a couple in qld for about 6000 thats full reco with everything except the ancillaries like ac and power steer
