indicator stalk

wondering if anyone can solve this ive bought a new indicator stalk for our gq from patrolparts even though the part that was ordered and delivered is for a gq it is diferent to the one off the vehicle . the main plug is the same but the original has an extra 3pin plug next to this WTF im almost over it ...thanks in advance :beer::1087:

Some GQs had cornering lamps. Possibly the extra plug is for that.

Did the gq come with cruze??
Or fog lamps?

no cruise or fog lamps westy . cornering lights ? so this plug may do nothing yendor . we pulled the old plug apart and the extra plug seem to be hooked into the blinkers

That's right when you put the right indicator on the right park light will also illuminate

If it is for the cornering lamps. The lamp on the front of the guard will light up on the same side as the indicator is flashing when the headlights are on.

car is out at the farm with the gearbox out atm so not sure of the colours . the light did get brighter when conering so I rekon your spot on yendor . so would it make any difference to use the new switch . im thinking just wont have that cornering light

The indicators will still work just the cornering lights won't.

Have a chat with Patrolapart they might be able to supply the correct switch.
