Cruise Control Kaput - GU IV 4.2TDI

The Cruise Control on my 4.2 TDI GU IV has ceased to work. Went to set it this morning and nothing, hasn't been used for a few months.

I searched in vain for a dedicated fuse, can't find one, searched the forum and found references to horn and taillight fuses but all my lights and horn work, checked fuses under the dash and all appear OK.

Any ideas and knowledge of which fuse the Cruise uses would be appreciated.

Fuses 8 and 14. You will also need to check the clutch pedal and brake pedal switches.

OK, I pulled all the fuses again to find all where OK. Scratch head and start the truck, push cruise button and it now works. I can only assume that one of the fuses had a "bad" contact and pulling it and refitting cleaned up the contact point. Will keep a dily check and see what happens.:confused:
