TD42 Temperature Sender

Hello Folks

My Temp gauge seems to be playing up. On the thermostat housing there are three sensors. Can someone please tell me which one is the Temperature sender. Thanks

I reckon its the middle one mate.

That's what I figured too, is there a way if testing "in situ" to tell if its the sensor or the guage that's crook?

The temperature gauge sender should have a single wire. On the GQ's the wire colour is yellow with a red trace.
