poptop camper

Has anyone ever seen or heard of doing a poptop camper on a patrol wagon the concept interests me but the cost would probs be prohibitive

Are you meaning similar to some LC troopies or VW kombis?? Where the actual roof raises up etc. If so I would think the patrol wagon might not have enough space/height to begin with and you would need to do a hell of a lot of custom panel work to get it functional. The floor in the patrol would be an issue to I would think. Troopies and kombis generally all have fairly low cargo floors which are relatively flat. The patrol wagons cargo area is raised up a bit and from the rear passenger floor there is about 3 step ups.
