G'day all,
I've got a 1989 ST GQ LWB with a TD42. I have had it about 15 years. Over the last couple of years I have been doing my own work on it. The old girl has about 440,000kms on her. I had the main rear seal start leaking pretty bad a couple of years ago so picked myself up a new (260,000km) engine and swapped it in. I am running a DTS turbo with around 12psi, 3" DTS exhaust. Just last month put a set of 16x8 sunrasias (neg 13) with 285/75 BFG A/T. Next job is to install 2" lift using Kings springs and Bilstein shocks that I bought a couple of weeks ago.
I've found this site really useful lately in getting advice on tricky issues and ideas. Thanks.
Gary

Welcome Gary, it's sometimes a frustrating and painful (skinning knuckles) time working on your own truck, but at the end of the day so so satisfying. Always plenty of info and help available on the forum so jump in and enjoy.

G'day Gary. Welcome to the forum. I've only been here a short time but am amazed at the amount of information at my fingertips. Pretty much any question you have has been asked, run a search on anything that comes to mind and there's sure to be a thread on it. Anyway have fun and if I can help, just ask.
