My name is Paul and username is Patrol-Guy. The name Patrol-Guy came about because I noticed people saying things like, when the gas guy gets here, or I have to see the phone guy . . . . So I thought "Patrol-Guy". . . . Sounds good to me.

Anyway I live in Queanbeyan, NSW. I just bought my first every Nissan Patrol. I have had a KK Jeep Cherokee for a few years but mods are so limited and I was having a few (annoying) issues (one that they couldn't work out how to fix) and so started looking for a new toy. The Patrol caught my eye a year or two back but never really looked at them in a serious light. Once I began searching for one I found that they are fairly hard to get. Especially if you have specific ideas about what you want.

I wanted white 08 or later, had to be diesel (never owned a diesel vehicle before so prepare yourselves for lots of questions) and had to be manual. I've also never had the main vehicle as a manual before, all been autos except for the odd paddock basher when I was younger and sillier. . .

I finally bought what I wanted from Victoria last Saturday. Since I live in NSW they had to sell it to me unregistered and gave me a permit to drive an unregistered vehicle back home. So now I have to go get a blue slip and jump through all those hoops to get it registered so wish me luck.

I'm sure it will all be ok in the end but just making sure all the I,s are dotted and t,s crossed is painful.... I better get going. Chat soon.

Paul

Yeah Jeeps are good but just don't go looking too hard to mods. Also a little too squishy....
