How things change so quickly on the roads.
How lucky the car spin right around and not straight in front of the lorrie.

Was a very lucky driver indeed

It was not far from where I live

Apparently a truck had driven out of town leaking oil everywhere

Wow! That brings back memories of getting T-boned by a bloke that went through a red light, years ago! That split second, heart sinking feeling as you watch the car heading your way and there isn't a damn thing you can do about it.

Gives you a wake up call. Oil on the road = slow down.

We get a bit of diesel on the roads here as trucks fill up and forget the cap, they get to the roundabouts and the stuff slops everywhere. Add rain and its all an ice ring.

The van tower was a professional driver, a little surprised he got caught out so bad. He had dropped his speed and did manage to take some sort of evasive actions. He was very lucky.

Amazed the truck got put on its side so easily. It's hard to understand how it all happens sometimes.

Good vid teaching me another lesson for the road, thanks. No outcome on who dumped the oil?

In the story, mate in the van said that he tried to slow down, but that didnt work, that was his last ditch effort to avoid a fatal collision. The truck most likely rolled due to its forward momentum and hard left turn down a bank. Plus the trees he went through wouldnt have helped.
