diff oil change

Hi all out there going to do an diff oil change but manual says
front axle
all except pick up 5.4 litre
pick up 4.3 litres
what does this mean any one have any ideas

Is yours a pickup or a wagon/swb? If it's a wagon/swb you need 5.4l. If pickup, 4.3l.

pick up would translate into cab chassis [ute]
wagon being a 4 door
