Hi folks.
I have searched at Forum for recommendations...

My camper trailer just sits in my driveway most of the year - in full view of anyone passing.

Normally, it is "parked in" by my Patrol ST, however, if the Patrol is out for a drive, then the trailer is set up for someone to back up and take off!!!

The only security on the trailer is a small padlock on the towball hitch.

===

I am thinking of a set of wheel clamps to beef up security for the trailer.

===

I have Searched on eBay - and can only find wheel clamps for cars (to 16").

The tyres on the trailer are currently 31x10.5x15 - and so are way bigger than 16" car tyres.

===

Does any have any recommendations for wheel clamps for factory GU/Y61 wheels - 275x65x17?

Thanks

I run a large chain through the rim spokes then around the leaf packs, and i have one of these that sides through the hole in my treg hitch http://www.bcf.com.au/online-store/products/Ark-Trailer-Lock-Heavy-Duty.aspx?pid=100643#Cross

also use the search bar as i rember a thread not long ago about this.

Similar to Mega I made a steel rod that passed through the rim and hooked around back of the spring pack.
Then used a very large lockwood padlock. Cheap and easy to make.
don't use a cheap Padlock to protect your pride and joy either.

I reckon a bit of both, a tow hitch cover lock and the wheels chained or clamped. I'd hate to read that your trailer had been driven away by somebody taking the easy way out of a purchase.

My neighbour at the back had his caravan stolen, it had a hitch lock on it but all they did was chain it up to their tow bar and off they went! The replacement has lock and wheel clamps
