So after reading thread after thread i am more confused now than before
with my 2.8 gu do i need to do the dawes valve needle valve ect .
Or do i just block the egr and put an inline boost controler in

G'day mate, no need for dawes valve and needle etc on our 2.8's we run a wategate/actuator not a varialbe vane like those smarty pants'

All you need is a boost controller in-line off the hose that comes off the compressor and goes to the actuator, egr is up to you but most will reccommend blocking it.

Could you explain the benefits of a boost controller on a 2.8 as i thought it was pointless fitting one because there wastegated to 15psi i though they were mainly used to stop over boost
