Ive been noticing a 'wet' patch on my sub tank for a couple of years now and always thought it was coming from the top breather pipe seeping a little fuel from the hose. But upon finally cleaning it properly and filling the tank i found it was coming from the filler inlet thats 3/4 the up the side of the tank. So i waited till the tank was empty and removed the hose and cleaned the inlet nozzle properly and found that the weld around it was not complete and the fuel was leaking from there. now for the questions. One, has anyone else had this problem, two, what chances have i got if i complain to nissan about it being that it was a manufacturing fault and not a result of wear and tear and three how can i repair it either temporarily or permanantly. Thanks

Hi mate.
Couple of things, could you stick in an arrow to show spot of leak?
Next, approach Nissan if it's a stock tank?
If it's a Aftermarket tank go to manufacturers.. Either you you'd hope they'll help,

but I doubt it.
So depending if it's urgent or not I'd just get it welded up..
Cost ya maybe $100 but done in a day..
