Hi I have just rebuilt my ZD30 2001 3Lt Turbo it was not revving up Cadillac converter blocked had 3 inch Stainless exhaust installed improved but still a bit sluggish.
After reading on this forum I cleaned my MAF valve improved again it has 208,00 Ks on it should I put a new one on and were is the best place to buy.
I have had the vehicle since July 2012 had 198,890 Ks on it. As every body that has one knows I have had nothing but problems it was sold to me with every that was just about gone I replaced clutch, Diesel pump,Block got a good second hand and rebored new piston & rings, new head, new water pump.
But reading forums like this has helped me through this so thanks to all you Nissan drivers and enthusiast. After all this I still like this Vehicle Started fitting Anti grenade gear progressively.

Give Mudski a PM he'll sort you out with what you need.
You may have no boost, fit a boost and an EGT gauge so you know whats going on,
other wise you are just guessing,

Welcome Norm. I have a 2001 5spd 3.0 litre Turbo as well. MAF sensor may need to be replaced and would probably cost around the $400 area. I had mine replaced at just over 197 000 Ks. Told the mechanic not to waste time cleaning it, just replace it, but he didn`t listen to me and had to do it his way. By cleaning it he found it needed replacing. Keep an eye on the EGR Stepper Motor and the alloy pipe that joins it back to the intake. The alloy pipe has a habit of warping at the flange end where it bolts up. I think people by pass this don`t they when they do there (nads is it?) modification(s). Just over $800 to get that little item replaced.
