Hello Everyone,
Im just trying to get my roadie done and the dreaded tyres got pinged, umm just looking for some suggestions to a good brand of tyres, looking for all terrains as 90% of the time it's gonna be on roads. Also looking for a good set of rims the stock one i have are old as hell and sprayed over rust lol and i'm looking to spic up my ride abit.
My budget is generous considering just don't wanna get bent over when i walk in not know anything about what i want, any prices also would be appreciated when answering too :)
Thanks peeps
Im in Geelong don't mind heading over to melbourne for a good deal though.
It's a 2002 ST ute btw if that matters

Mickey Thompson have a new atz3 out which looks good or try the MT 4 rib AT.
if you want to spruce up your rims you could sand blast and powder coat in a colour of your choice.
Might be easier buying new rims when you buy your tyres. What will be the main duties of your Patrol?
80% on 20% off or 50/50 ???

Dad is running 285/75 r16 BFG all terrains on his. They are wearing quite well, and he has been very happy with the performance of them, both on and off-road.
He got them second hand so I can't comment on price. I suggests you reaearch the prices online
Cheers

I run Cooper ATRs and find them quiet ,long lasting and wear even.
price wise around $250 a corner. absolutelty hopeless in any kind of mud.
OK in the wet, I'd buy them again, size is 285/75/16

I'd be looking at the Mickey Thompson ATZ 5 rib. Good strong tyre and hwy bias but pretty rugged for OFFROAD too.
Head into the new Tyrepower store mate. He was always well priced when he was in Thompsons road but he had his big opening today next to Supercheap Auto North Geelong. Now trading as Tyrepower / Geelong 4wd and Camping. Big store. Maybe some opening specials.
