Yeah how is everyone, I recently bought a 2002 patrol st plus 4.2td stumbled upon this place to learn abit more about the car i just bought, found this site quite helpful in getting the thing up to scratch as it's abit of an old warhorse. Coming from an ex taxi falcon au though im just blow away, abit of the car needed loving to get it running nice enough not to feel laggy. I got a 3 inch exhaust installed, redid the injector plugs, glowplugs, full service an engine flush and it's running like a dream. loving it just needs abit more love still to pass the roady haha :) i picked it up cheap though about 9k through a friend.

Im not really a hardcore enthusist in 4x4 but i think all thats gonna change i just love this car that much haha :D my workmates drive lando's and always pay me out but ill show them up in no time haha thats me anyway peeps thanks for having us :)

ahh yeah im from geelong too haha :d now i just need a boat to tow haha

Welcome, the LR owners won't be paying you out when you pull them out of the mud. Just ask them how much parts cost and they might shut up

yeah it's abit worn in sitting around 315k still no obvious signs of engine troubles no leaks, no wierd sounds it has abit of smoke on the cold startups but going by what i've done only think i can thing is maybe the glowplug relay which my mate mechanic is gonna look into tommorow i think, which i learnt from this forum infact, i try to do my research hoping it is something that simple or it might be the injector pump fingers crossed it ain't though :)
