im going to change the oil in my diffs I have been given this penrite pro gear full synthetic 75w- 90 for both the front and rear is this the good oil or should I be using something else. also how much does the rear take and the same for the front. thanks kev

You should be using limslip diff oil in the rear, I use 85-140W on the rear and 85-90w in the front......... I know nothing about the 75-90w but if it's not limslip I wouldn't use it on the rear

thanks clunk I have been quite nervous of this oil it is supposed to be what the penrite book says but im not convinced and I cannot afford to be wrong

No worries mate. I should have also mentioned that I also use Penrite and it is recommended to use 85-90w limslip in the rear, I just choose to use the thicker grade.

I always use Penrite too for the diffs, ratios as above.

Very long intervals in changing worth spending the money on quality.
