Hey fellas I have had a new tig welded intercooler on and has been working great, my boost has been spot on.
I just came home from a trip around walhalla on the weekend and the boost seems to be at around 14 psi when I am at cruising speed it used to be around 10 psi. It seems to be running like when I had a leaking intercooler .
I have tried adjusting the needle valve and it only made a little difference.
Intercooler looks fine. Should I be looking at the intercooler pipes for leaks, just wanting to see if I am on the right track, would also love your thoughts.

Could wind your Dawes out a bit and lose a bit of boost, seems strange its gone up,
10 psi at 100 kph seems to be rule of thumb

It is very strange I had 10psi at a 100ks before the weekend.

Very strange adjust your boost as per rule of thumb, 100kph at 10 psi boost,
Spray your MAF it may be sending the wrong signals, check and tighten hoses
especially the back right one. Whilst doing all this disconnect the battery as well

Do you have DAWES fitted ????

I have the full nads setup. I did think about giving the maff a clean. Will do that when I get home and see if it makes any difference I might check all the pipes involved

I have had full nads in for about 4-5 months. After fitting the new intercooler about a month ago she has been driving like a dream
