Hi all
other than going through a Nissan dealer, do any of you know of a source for a drivers door ACTUATOR and new central locking REMOTE?
Its for a 2005 3.0 Patrol

Do your other doors pop open if you unlock the car with the "key" in the drivers door lock ?

If so, some aftermarket kits are available, they come with a master solenoid and of course new remotes etc.

Just another option.

What's wrong with the door actuator? they normally don't fail.

It's more common for the mechanical part of the latch to fail.

Had both my rear door actuators shear the shaft threw the pin which holds the gear on, and BA sent me another 2 with the exact same issue. Lol
This is a gq though. Be interesting to see if they changed the design in the gu..
