Howdy,
Been putting off doing a lot of stuff with the Maverick since we bought the house, but am getting to the stage where I can devote a bit of time to pampering the bunny wagon with some TLC, maintenance and upgrades.
BA kindly sorted me out with a new battery and a second spare rim at the weekend, and I've finally bought a new set of handbrake shoes to throw at her, but my mind is turning to internal mods.
One thing I've put off for a while is pulling out the rear passenger seats and adding in a water tank and storage, as my last company car was a two seat Getz. My new runabout is a Mondeo wagon though, so there is really no reason why I can't dispense with the extra arsepads in the back.
Has anyone else done it? Did you just bolt a plywood sheet into the seat mounts and build from there or what?
I've been looking at some of the contoured water tanks too, the ones that take the transmission tunnel hump into account, anyone have one? Are they any chop?
