hi everyone,
I want to make an 3" straight pipe under my 2.8 patrol. the idea is to make it by my self and most preferbly in 1 or 2 pieces (not much seams). is there someone here that did something like this before and can give me some tips ands tricks to do the job and maybe show some pics? how can I bend 3" pipes the best with a low budget?

Buy it. In all honesty unless you already have a tig welder, mandrel bender to suit 3" tube and all the material Its cheaper to buy it..

As Westy said. For the time and effort. Just buy a system. Why stainless too? Looks?

you will get at least ten years out of a steel exhaust pipe. just buy one save your self a headache.

you cant go straight pipe either or the axel will hit on it
the pipe needs to go over the top lots of bends

Other than looks I can't see any advantage of using SS. Plus its under the car anyhow. Each to their own I suppose. Does look pretty good though Petit.
