Loving our new truck. But Christ is it difficult buying a car in Jordan. I'm from the UK where I used to sell cars for 15 years and now teach here. I bet buying in Aus is so much easier.
Not only are all the cars ridiculously expensive, but you have no idea about their history!
So far... corroded battery terminal which seems to need periodic cleaning to keep the connection, the sub tank light is on (and I've checked the fuse) so don't know what to do about that- I mistakenly put 20 litres of gas in thinking that might put the light out- now it teases me when I run low that I can't get to all this spare fuel!
Thankfully fuel is cheap here otherwise my first tank of 13mpg might have been more scary.
Despite all this, my wife and kids love our new truck- the kids call in Nelly cos it's a bit big! Comfy on long journeys and you don't get bullied so much when you have big bull-bars!

dboman with the battery terminal get boiling water and pour over it, this will wash the corrosion away and then cover with a liberal amount of vaseline to protect it and slow the corrosion down. this in conjunction with making sure that both the terminal and battery pole are clean should fix it.

Congrats on the new Patrol ... and welcome aboard.
