Ironman Winch Problem

Hi all.

I bought and installed an Ironman winch last weekend all was good but just today my wireless remote has stopped working. It worked fine when I first installed but now nothing, the winch works when the cord is plugged in and I changed the batteries to see if that was the issue and still nothing.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Has it got an antenna wire in the control box? If so is it still connected? Have you wind it up or left uncoiled?

It has a wireless activator that plugs in on top where the cord would go but it is a solid unit and doesn't come apart. I haven't opened the box yet to have a look because i'm worried about voiding the warranty.

Is there an indicator light on the hand control?

Yes they are all working. I'm so stumped as to what the problem is! Lol I bet it will end up being the smallest over looked thing.

May be a silly question, but are you sure you have the radio pickup plugged in the right way. I have found it is really easy to push the cable plug in my set up the wrong way as the positioning lug is very small.

Haha yes it only goes in one way has a slot that the grove must slide into.

Well, sorry mate, I'm out of ideas, hopefully someone else here has an easy fix for you.
