hi guys got a td42 gq..how do i properly seal the snorkel between the air box and the panel..its only facing face to face but no good clamp up between them...my only option was silicon...any other ways do to it will be great help..i had all this seal up but after every trip i found mud is finding a way to get in...and one of my friends (Jonathan )put a plastic bag top of the snorkel and didn't stole the engine(running poorly)...it is still sucking from some where else..any help and pictures will be helpful ...thax guys

I used silicone on mine had same problem also spaced out snorkle tube to make tighter fit to air box

X 2 with the silicone, just scrape all that old goop off first
maybe some tape over joins as well

I was the drain pipe top from burnings on my old trol bolted that to the 1/4 with silicon to seal :( I cant find my old pics for you ill keep looking

The part im talking about is a square head that turns into a cycle you use a hacksaw to cur down each corner and flatten it out

X2 with the silicone, then I used the 3 mounting holes for the metal flange with extra large washers on to clamp the pipe onto it.
