According to NGK's Australian website the correct spark plug would be a BP5ES with 0.8mm gap.

No sorry, I've never heard of them. I can only assume they are colder rated spark plugs to suit LPG powered vehicles. If I get a chance today I'll stop in at an auto parts store and see what part number they recommend or specify for a dual fuel Patrol.

Sehzata. Please recall your Patrol is bensin, right?
I mean down here it's quite popular to join LPG with 4,2 diesel in Y60. Do You have this kind of attempts too?

i have an 88 gq carby model on duel fuel and i am running NGK BPR5ES and have had no problems with the plugs what distributor are u running is it points or is it electronic iam running electronic ignition they recomend if u are running lpg that u run a colder plug so the standard NGK BPR6ES for petrol or the NGK BPR5ES for duel fuel

I recently asked our local LPG expert about plugs (mainly whether he recommends Platinum plugs for LPG) and he commented that I should avoid resistance plugs. This means that NGK BP5ES should be better than NGK BPR5ES, but we were talking about a carby GQ not an EFI one. You may need the resistance ones for an EFI model.
