Oil leak

[First Patrol]

Ok my 03 td42i has a bit of oil on that foam pad between gearbox and engine. It's not dripping over my driveway but very wet to the touch.
I degreaser everywhere above around turbo etc but can't see any oil leaks. The engine also seems to be holding oil. I brought this not long ago and noticed it first inspection under there. What could it be?? A major?? Seal between motor and box??

If it's there it could be your sump gasket,maybe try getting under there and put a socket on the bolts. On the off chance it could be your rear main, there should be a small bung or hole in the very bottom of the housing if there is oil coming from there it's your rear main.

It could just be residual from a service as the oil filters do spill a bit in that general location
