I can get my hands on a 2000 gu ute 4.2 off a mate for a cheap price he wants me to make him an offer.
Has travelled somewhere in the high 200 k range pushing very close to 300 actually. One of his workers put 20 litres of unleaded into it and drove it, has had pump and injectors replaced but im concerned if this could have damaged any thing else ?
isn't overly trashed but is well used as a work vehicle minimal fwd use,
I have no idea what to offer him ? I want a bargain obviously but I want him to say yes also with out going and selling else were. What would be a usual asking price if say he was advertise on online to the public I know he paid $27 000 for it approx 5 or 6 years ago,
I am pretty sure he is thinking around $1500 to advertise although I think I could get it for $10 000 straight up, please let me know your opinions on what this is worth.
I already have a 2005 model and is tough as nails my 17 year old son is looking at 2000 to 2005 utes around the $5000 to $7000 mark non 4wd but much less km im unsure if I should boost his budget and talk him into this patrol or just buy it my self while its available, either way at what cost do you think its worth to add to my collection please state bargain price or market value cheers :049:

I just brought a 03 coil cab ute with 300km on it for 16g.36417

I feel I got a bargain the thing has never seen long grass let alone any 4x4!!!!
Very happy with it!

I put half a tank if petrol in my diesel work ute one and used whole tank I don't think it's ever run as good lol maybe cleaned it out. The workshop said that cos it was a weak mix in it I prob saved it from melting

Buy it mate!!

Carsguide values a 2000 DX non turbo at $11700 with 325000klm as a trade price

If he wants a quick sale with out advertising $10000 is probably acceptable

Lucky son by the sounds of it
