Gday!
Im new around here and i came across this site on the hunt for a manual, so thought id intro myself and my vehicles!
The Ls1 is having high RPM a/c cut out issues which is why im looking for a manual :(

The 4wd's i currently have are a 2002 model Gold GU ST wagon powered by a LS1 V8 in front of the patrol 4 speed auto.
And a 2007 model White CRD GU wagon
The 02' has a 4" lift and had 33's the day i got it but the 35's off my 07' CRD wagon went on immediatly haha..

Its a new one to me i only picked it up 2 weeks ago but since then iv got for it:

6" superior superflex lift, dobinson coils, tough dog shocks, quick disconnects etc
NT rego (harder then you think with the LS1 haha) and put my UNSTABL plates on
LS2 heads and rockers
232/234 590. lift @ 114 LSA camshaft
New adjustable and gauged fuel regulator (the one of it was average)
Put the 35" mickey thompson CLAWS on that i had brought for the CRD only 3 weeks ago
All the switchs required to hook up the manual lock up clutch
TRANSGO shift kit (shifts like absolute ****, slowwwwww and with the power it makes slippppp) and ill do the resistor mod. as well.
New knock sensors and pulleys, tensioner and belt for the engine etc

Not everything is fitted yet but i work away i only get limited time unfortunetly

Also i already had brought for the CRD GU and not fitted this stuff that will go on it when i get home (work in mining):

Full sound system 7" touch screen, Rockford Fosgate splits and 6x9's and 12" option audio sub.
90Lt engle fridge
XP9.5 winch and 38m synthetic winch rope
Front spaton diff locker
35" spare wheel re-location and high lift mount
Roof rack
Hella Rallee 4000 compact HID's (they came off my old 79 series turbo)

Have a few more plans but the misso is getting upset so got to calm down for a while on the spending haha, then its back into it!

The CRD was going to recieve the full kit but when the V8 showed up i couldnt say no so it took a back seat.

The 07' GU CRD has:
2" lift
33" MT's
ST exterior kit out
7" Alpine screen and speakers
Beaudesert 2 3/4 exhaust
Dawes valve and man boost control
Rallee 4000's
90lt fridge n thats about it
Eventually ill sell it but ill wait til im 150% happy with the V8 as its a great car and tows the boat with very very little use of fuel!

And BARE WITH ME i havnt got any pics as i just got a new phone and im at work but Friday week when i get home from work ill throw some up of them!
Thanks for reading :)

Welcome to the forum mate.

I have been following your thread on the other Patrol forum with interest.

To me it sounds like the A/C control hasn't been bypassed from the ZD30 ECU.

Im beginning to think your 100% correct, and that the LS exceeds certin perimeters that the ZD control doesnt like!
Biggest problem is i work away so i cant test anything until im home so doing RnD for now..
One thing i completelyyyyy forgot about was that if my ZD computer is still in there, then it still should have a fault code system for the A/C
I plugged into the LS the other day with the G-scan to check everything but didnt even think to plug into the patrol side!
Defiantly going to check when i get home because as far as i recall, the a/c does have a controll system that will throw a fault usually. might not tell me what the fault is, but at least tell me it has a obvious one!

I haven't been involved with an LS1 conversion so I not really sure why/if they would of left the ZD30 ECU in place.

It doesn't have a fault code for the A/C as such. I don't think the G-Scan will read the ZD30 DI system. If it does you should be able to see if the ECU is commanding the A/C off or not.

If it still has the ZD30 ECU fitted, you only need to cut two wires and join them together to bypass the A/C control.

I think that little piece of info may just save my day mate thank you do much iv been trying to get a diagram with absolutely no luck!
and my ECM remains because I still use the ZD30 potentiometer for the automatic gearbox. Just with a throttle cable adapted.
How I adjust the cable controls how the kickdown works and lockup clutch coming in.
