Hi everyone,

Sorry if this is already posted somewhere, I have spent a long time searching for it.
Would anybody know if a standard diesel tank from a leaf sprung '89' model GQ Ute will fit easily into a '89' model SWB?

I could just pull them both out and mess around for a while, but thought it might as well ask the question. As someone might have tried already :)

Thanks for any help in advance

Is the shorty leaf sprung as well? The leaf ute tanks are different and won't go in a coil chassis with a full body on it.

Thanks, I should have mentioned the SWB is Coil all round.
Well that answers it then, Thanks heaps.

Saying that, would any COIL spring GQ - Ute or LWB diesel tank fit into a COIL SWB?
It's seems so much harder to get SWB parts, so would be great if they work.

Yeah they should be the same as longs as it's the one mounted over the rear
