G'day everybody,

Just joined up so thought I'd say Hi. New to 4x4ing and pretty new at getting involved in forums too, but I've got a fair bit of work ahead of me with my 1990 GQ and seems like you guys (and girls) have a wealth of knowledge to help.

Will be searching around for what to do next with my ride. Needs a a little work to get it running perfect (doesn't start up to well), then into getting it ready to get out of town, lifts, tyres, recovery etc etc and then into some good spots and 4x4 driving tips.

I'm from the western suburbs of Melbourne, hence needing to get out of dodge every now and then.

I look forward to learning and reading about everybody's experiences.

Cheers

Mick

Cheers guys!

About to go searching for some answers but quickly, one of the first things I think I should do is pull out the back windows which are all rusted out. Any advice? Anybody done this before themselves? Or just best to get it done by a pro?

I've had a look at some threads re servicing my Patrol at home so hoping to get under for a bit of a go at that this weekend.

Also, there are some dickie looking decals around the bottom half of the beast, any tips on getting them off?

Cheers!

Welcome. Sorry about the late intro but we have had a few spammers of late and I'm checking any unknown names.
Just so happens I didn't welcome you but can help you with the Windows.
I've replaced mine with solid glass from a place in Geelong. They do a slide replacement with alloy frames so they'll out live the car, but you pay for them..
Ill try find my thread about it..

Anyway, welcome again. Jump in and enjoy.
Cheers
