Hello friends,
Tried searching but either didn't input the right terms or the answer isn't here..... yet
I need to get myself an adaptor to fit inline with one of my radiator hoses to fit my aftermarket coolant temp sensor. My car is a 98 GU with the 2.8 in it, So I can't just tap it into the thermostat housing as has been done on the 4.2 as mine sits 1/3 of the way down the engine and doesn't have a bleeder on it, The standard sensor is on the side of the block.
Looking at one of these babies
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Water-Temp-Gauge-Radiator-Hose-Sensor-Adaptor-30mm-BLUE-/380675726221?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item58a20a9b8d&_uhb=1
But without removing the hose and putting shite everywhere on the driveway I was wondering if anyone could tell me the approximate ID of the radiator hose, Top one should be ok to install it to?
I know I will have to earth it for my gauge to work that's no problem.
If anyone could help that'd be great!
Cheers all,
Eric.
