Its 6:50 PM. I am backing out of my drive way. Just like I have for the last 13 years. I check both ways, all good, althogh to the right there is a very slight curve in my street that restricts my view down the road to about 80 to 100 meters. Its all clear, I back out from the drive. A right hand down turn. I get to the middle of the road. Stop. I am lined up with my street and just as I put the Patrol into 1st gear....... Bang/crunch. At first I thought I must have reversed into a car parked on the other side of the street. I am totally dazed. I get out and there is a new Rav 4 (I think) having severe intercourse with the back of my Patrol.
The driver gets out of the Rav. Thinking about it now he is very cheesey. I think he has something to hide. he is very freindly. Says I stopped and started again and that confused him. Bulls hit! I reckon he was on the phone or stuffing around with a CD or something...
Anyhow. The Rav is stuffed. Had to be towed away. The Patrol has a broken bumper and thats about it.
Insurance claim put in on line. Its out of my hands now. here is a couple of pictures. the pics of the Rav were taken last night. The pics of the Patrol were taken today....
