Hay mate. A few quick Google searches will show simply you get what you pay for...
Reported bars being tacked not welded.
Low quality paint, lighter materials etc.
I'll never buy anything branded roo or tigerz..
But others do..

I ended up with a set of Roo side-steps. When I dropped the car on them coming off a rock ledge, it bent the crap out of them. I am guessing it is a very low carbon steel that they use. Some of the chequer-plate screws have also vibrated out and vanished. Cheap & nasty, I got what I deserved. Normally I don't buy crap either. Next set will be made by someone in Aus, not China.

As others have said, you get what you pay for.
These cheapo brands are ok with things like awnings, spare wheel rubbish bags etc... But important stuff , for example bull bars (think vehicle impact) and winches where your whole car may be hanging off it, are things to stay clear of. If you keep a close eye on the 4wd action forums, who heavily endorse roo systems and tigerz 11. Negative comments about their stuff comes up all the time, which are very quickly deleted by the mods.

Yes stay away from tigerz and roo, both the same product and it's crap I had one sent over on special, when it turned up it was all scratched and had rust inside the Back. I sent it back and got my money back, reall thin crap.
