Pillar pod

Hey, I just got a pillar pod from eBay unpainted to hold my boost gauge and egt gauge on my Gq but having trouble getting it to sit right, do I need to shave a little bit off it? Has anyone had any experience with these? Does it sit just inside the windscreen seal or over it?

My GU one sits over top of stuff very easy

This is best I can get mine to sit after shaving a bit off to sit better, just wanna b sure b4 I screw it in I'm doin it rite36206

Yeah seems right not as if its made by NASA engineers eh ,
If you're happy screw as is for time being until you can physically check another.
Cause you know what'll happer if you trim too much,
