Hi all,
I was going to do Movember this year and wondering if anybody else was interested in forming a team.
I will enter either myself or a team on Thursday so let me know if you are interested.
I know a few on here have done it before and hopefully will want to do it again or maybe a few new guys.

I have not been clean shaven for almost 30 years so not even sure what I look like underneath so should be a shock when I clean shave for the first day.

Anybody else interested?

All you need to do is log on to the Movember web site and enrol (under the team name we will start) then start the month clean shaven and then start growing your mo and encourage your friends, family and work mates to sponsor you. The donations are also done on the website and put against who you want to sponsor.
All the money goes to research, education and support for Prostrate Cancer, Testicular Cancer and Men's Mental Health.
I think most people on here would have had either themselves or someone they are close too affected by these issues.

So come on guys, lets get involved.

Some years back the organisers were caught out keeping a fair chunk of each dollar raised. They have since decreased that amount, but I'd like to know how many cents in the dollar are kept and how many given to the cause now!

No charity even not for profit charities give 100%. People may give time, but it's the little things like the tickets, receipts, pens etc which have to be deducted from donations..

The donations for the Moe Patrol team are currently sitting at $1055.
I have had several of the guys from my work join the team now as well so instead of me being the odd one out our work will look like a through back to the 70's.
The Mo is looking to pitiful to take a photo of yet but will take a photo in a few days.
