This is my first post so if this has been covered before, sorry . I am installing a power socket in the rear for my fridge. It is a direct line from the socket to the battery with an in line fuse. What size fuse should I use? I have used heavy gauge wire.

Mine is a 10amp at the battery, and a thermal fuse next to the engel plug, has been working fine for four years now. :)

I have 15A in a distribution block attached to my cargo barrier but it's not the fridge you're protecting but the wire.....
