New to technology of forum s

My bad for lack of introduction , this is new to me.
G'day all patrol people ,

This is my second patrol the first was a 1988 gq 4.2 diesel non turbo I brought with 210,000 on the clock . That poor thing was pushed to the brink over the 9 year s I had it and required only normal maintenance and never let me down.
I sad to sad to say in January this year I had to retire the poor dear with 614,000 rounded off as cancer had got the best of it. With two options -1 buy a cruiser or 2 buy another patrol it was an easy choice.
How ever after having my 93 for a short time and on the first big trip away it stopped up on a steep climbing mountain road in a cloud of white smoke , " No 3 let go " I've gave it quite the over haul but still can't get it running right.
Hope some one can help , cheers
