hi, im wondering if the rear sway bar release mech is serviceable? mine seems to be seized up and the ball and cup joint worn out also. anyone know where i can source new ball and cup? im wanting to keep the release mech as opposed to going to a constant hook up as i guess i would have to manufacture a mount for the non release link pin and dont think icbf atm.

I don't think the ball joint is repairable
But you can pull the unit apart .
You can also weld a hemi joint to where the ball was and it will last about 1/2 years, have fixed mine several times, great device would love together another for my ute

i was thinking of welding the ball onto the sway bar thought that would weaken the sway bar and it would end up snapping the end off.
could you describe what u mean by hemi joint or post a pic? at least the unit is serviceable thanks ill have to pull it out and see what its problem is
