I reckon I saw 5-6 dark blue Q's today but unless it had the same plates on it, I'm not sure I'd recognise it. Sorry mate.
I am keeping an eye out though.

The cheaper GPS trackers are only as good as the service it uses, and instill its found.
I'm mo're inclined to use a couple of fail safe things so the can't take it..
I currently have a Fuel cut off override, but will be doing the clutch peddle thing aswell..
By the time the figure out the setup hopefully someone is asking questions or the battery is flat..

Fill ya boots.....
I made my statement, believe what you want. In short they can be remotely disabled and easily located when hidden in a vehicle. The spooks and SF guys have shown me what can be done. A lot of the gear can be bought off ebay. As I said before, if your car is on the wanted list it's gone!
If your happy with the level of protection for your car be happy......I made a decision not to use a gps tracker after being shown how they can be disabled.

So dont try to protect your car is what you are saying... maybe just leave the keys in the ignition.
In the end my car will be stolen is your logic as it is on the "Wanted List"

Not at all.....use all means possible. Look at westys comments. I just chose not to use a gps tracker. The average knucklehead out there is who you are protecting against. Organised crime.....refer my wanted list comment.

I think what NP99 is trying to say that to post up on a forum how to circumvent a GPS tracking system is the wrong thing to do, we don't need crooks to have that sort of knowledge even tho the dedicated crooks know more than most of us about stealing other peoples hard earned.
Maybe it was a mistake to mention it, but at least it makes us all aware that even the best security measures can be thwarted, there are plenty of Maggots out there that just want what belongs to others
I for one respect his refusal to blurt it out.
I think also that this thread should be nipped in the bud.
Cheers, the ferret

Guys, I'm more then willing to get involved in threads regarding vehicle security and how best to electrically protect your pride and joy.
Even though in previous post, I have made it clear what I think of expensive alarm systems, especially ones installed by the same mobs that do air conditioning and the films on windows. I am still more then happy to help where I can.
I don't think it is the correct place to debate these methods in a thread that was started by a member that has had a family members vehicle stolen.
Mods, I recommend that you start a new thread, starting from the second page.

Yeah sorry about that... just want to be armed with as much knowledge as possible to protect myself.
I am 41 years old and this is the first car I have owned that I truly love.

Wow, your brother is one of the lucky ones ..... and with a NA 4.2, it was probably too slow for a getaway car ...:)
Great news anyway...I hate things like this happening - what ever happened to respecting other peoples property.
