Noticed that nasty oil stain on intercooler couple of days ago ,im already looking at bits for the NADS project which by the way have found a wealth of knowledge on this site [ thank you ] . So to get to the point was wondering if you up grade to bigger intercooler is this a good thing and does it up set engine mapping .Have made contact with chip tuning [ shit how much for a chip ] is it worth it or just go the NADS and standard intercooler . O YEAH this one will crack you up whilst leaning over to do some looking at where I spend my next pay check SNAP you got it that wee little fitting that feeds over flow tank decided that it know longer wanted to be a part of the radiator [ have done temp fix ] But still love my patrol and still have smile on face. cheers

I'll be looking to fit an upgraded unit to mine following NADS and some serious money saving. I've checked mine and know it's leaking but just can't afford the upgrade for it yet.

I have just upgraded my intercooler with a diesel smart one. It has made such a difference, I am getting lower egt's, better fuel economy and she has more up and go . I highly recommend doing a intercooler upgrade if your old one is
Leaking.

Up graded to tigged OE intercooler with NADS, do again in a heart beat,
as above I used a Diesel Smart IC
with the the radiator use a brass 1/4" hose barb.

Should be able to do a change over for around $500 over priced but that's the going rate or $1300 plus for the real big ones
