The vehicle 1999 td4.2t cab chassis .

The mod installed 2 100w h3 reverse lights instead of 75w h3 's which worked fine.

The problem no reverse lights , tacho ,speedo .

What we still have is all other lights stereo 40 ch aircon and fan etc .

What I've checked all fuses under dash and under the bonnet its still charging with head lights at 13.72 volts at the battery so what have I blown ? Where to look next KISS as I'm only a rank amateur at this auto lecky stuff ; but any help would be greatly appreciated .

You have blown fuse 28, it's a 10 amp fuse in the fusebox under the dash.

You will need to run the two new reverse lights via a relay.

thanks again Yendor you were right again the meter fuse I just didn't see how it worked up to the instrument cluster to take out the engine sensor and the speed sensor but further study of the Gregory's showed how and the mech at work explaining it as well helped. The strange thing was I had checked it with paint all over the glasses and didn't pick up the break until I turned the fuse 30 degrees with clean glasses oh the joys of age .
