2.8 engine oil

Hi all
I'm new to this site
I've had many patrols since 2002 and now I have my first 2.8 turbo diesel. Slightly underpowered. Well that's an understatement. But I've just rebuilt it and up for a 5k service any thoughts on the best oil for this. 99 gu y61. Plenty of mods. Suspension tyres stereo controls etc
