Hi all iam driving a 2010 gu patrol 3.0 litre crd every now and again when I push the go pedal from a standing start or at slow speeds at lights or going around a corner after stopping I seem to lose all go for a second can push accelerator to the floor and get nothing even lower revs then I idling untill it kicks back in only seems to happen when car is not at full operating temps have I got a problem or should I be letting it warm up a bit more before I drive

Very common fault . Throttle position sensor [ TPS ] . meant to be a national recall on these .

You could pull it apart, clean it and adjust the contacts. But why would you if Nissan are going to replace it free of charge?

Thanks for the info I shall be looking into it I brought the patrol second hand and that's the first I have heard about that only started playing up this week still great 4by thanks again
