Hi everybody,
Hope this works this time! had a Windows7 auto shutdown.........
I purchase our diesel GQ Patrol in 2000 after driving a V6 Pajero across the Simpson. The significant change in fuel consumption in the sand influenced my decision. The Patrol is not perfect buy I would not change it, in fact I have developed an attachment to it.
We have made several trips into the center with our last big trip in 2005 Sydney, Adelaide, Esperance, Kalgoorlie, Great Victoria Desert, Cooberpedy, Allice Springs, Mackay, Sydney.
Since then I have been wearing the Patrol out running the M2 daily!
Last year we purchased a camper so we could travel north of Rocky. Up there you are part of the food chain. I figured a crock wont be able to undo the zipper and clime the meter to the bed, not because I and getting soft.
I came across this site while I was looking for some information on the GQs electrical system as my manual is safely stored in the shed!
After writing this I think I will go back to the vehicle and put the can of mower fuel back in the shed and have another go at finding the problem.
I will have a go at attaching a picture while I am here.
Thanks for your time.
