Great to see your enjoying this again Healy. And nice looking q for sure.
As for the sway bar disconnect, there should be a lever top left of the drivers side foot well, and when pulled a light come on top left of the dash.
The actual unit itself is small and quite easily missed if not looking for it, but it sits on the rear bar drivers side between the bar and the chassis.
It will have a cable and wires running to it but essentially it just a block and pin.
I'll photo mine tonight if you can't find it.
Anyway enjoy the q mate.
Cheers

Im thinking of making the Q a 6 seater as we will have 2 baby seats in the car so instead of 2 3 2 it would be 2 2 2 with the fridge in the middle of the second row. Has anybody done this looking at the 2nd row seat frames it looks to be a absolute f##k around id have to find seats that would give anothe room for the fridge to fit. So then that leaves me of doing the battery somewhere else I could fit battery under bonnet only if I can change the size of over flow bottle. So can I change the size of over flow bottle?? And has anybody heard seen or done the 2nd row seat idea any help thanks 1 more thing has anybody know/ where crab bars are bought in melbourne I can only find someone in Ballarat to far thanks again

Hey mate so what about the power button on the gear stick thats what I thought that was. Do I use both on a big hill. Ive never had a auto 4b
That's the overdrive button, you'll see an O/D light on the top left instrument cluster when over drive is off.
The other switch you asked about it for the auto, power - holds onto the gears for longer when accelerating hard. AUTO - is just that, it will change depending on how your driving. If you've kicked down and accelerating hard, you'll habitually see the power light on that switch light up. HOLD - keeps the auto in what ever gear you're in when the Hold is selected........... Well that's why happens with mine anyway.
I just keep my switch on power and the OD off on all roads except when I'm doing over 80, the OD goes on.

Starting at second row I want two commodore seats with fridge in middle and the 3rd row us the normal seat with two boxes on the sides under sliding windows but ice just gotta work out what seats will fit in the second row with the fridge commodore etc

Why not get a ute front 3/4 seat and put it in the front. its a direct bolt in. i done it to mine so i still have the full boot space. we regularly travel with my 4 kids(8yrold and wife in the front) and have no probs with it. Being an auto will be even easier as sometimes changing gears my daughters leg gets in the way.

I'm trying to work out if I should change mine over.....I'm just running the standard 15x8 steel rims and just got the 10inch wide tyres on ATM.

I had the bighorns 35x12.5x15 with -22 on the last Q worked a treat. These ones are 35x13.5x15 -44. I wish they were a 16". But I did a straight swap for my f'd tyres and the standard 16x8 rims im glad aren't on my car anymore as they just chip away on the edges when at low pressure im sticking with aftermarket steelies now. hey healy just for curiosity can you grab a tape measure and measure the distance between the center of the tyres. lol you must be tracking a shitload wider. I just changed to 285/75/16's and I fitted 5 different offset ryms why I had my car up on stands doing hubs and bump stops. Tested checked full travel out of all the ryms the best results was
SIZE: 16X8 Inches
PCD: 6/139.7
OFFSET: 13N (i.e -ve13
They gave me the most travel, clearance and still sit nicely in guards.
