Bitron products, has any body used them?

I've known the local Pirtek franchise owner for 25 years, he put me onto these Bitron products and he swears by them as do all his crew.
I put 500ml of the engine treatment in my Patrol, It used to make a noise that has now gone???
I warmed the engine to operating temperature set the hand throttle to 1000rpm, turned it off added the Bitron and restarted. After a minute the revs were 1100 and the rattle had disappeared.
Idle was usually 650 rpm it is now 700.
I don't know what long term effects will be but what I have seen is a surprise to me.
Will try the gearbox additive at the next change, might get rid of that low rev rattle, that would be nice!

Our local wrecker also hires out buses, swears by the stuff.

Somewhere in the blurb is something about oil dissipating from a hot spot where this stuff is attracted to one. If that is true it is a product for protecting engines etc.
At $50.00 for 500ml it is expensive but thought I would give it a go as my mate was so excited about results he is getting feedback from those that try it.
