Hi All,
Can anyone help with possible immobilizer fault, vehicle cranks but wont fire.
Have tried spare key, same problem.
Have been advised to bypass immobilizer fuel solenoid on injector pump.
Has anyone done this?
Anyone have pics of what i am looking for??

What does the red security light on top of the dash do when you try and start the vehicle?

Yes you can bypass/remove it. There is a black box at the back of the injector pump with 3 wires going into it, you need to remove this box. It isn't easy as the bolts that hold it in place are anti tamper style, the last one I did I bashed it a bit then ended up using a dremel to grind the heads of the bolts. Once you remove it flick the ignition on and see which one of the 3 wires has a constant 12v then connect that one to the solenoid and all is well.
