Quick question.....
A mate is buying a GQ and it needs new tyres for roadworthy. Can you fit 33's under a GQ without lift so it will pass a roady in VIC?
Will they rub? Will the rubbing cause it to fail a roady?
Cheers,

Do you need front mud flaps for a road worthy? Because 33s will probably rub on the fixing brackets going lock to lock but other than that, three shouldn't be an issue

Yes you need all 4 flaps in Victoria legally.

Yes 33's on stock lift will be fine without flexing...I.e black top driving.

I have a set of 31 desert duellers if he needs roady.

I put 33's on my shorty and had to put a 2" lift kit in as it rubs on the guards when you turn, I also had to put rubber flares on as they stuck out to far which may fail the road worthy

I had 33" BFG's with sagged standard springs when I first bought my patrol only rubbed when flexed in the rear wheel arches and still does today with 3" lift.
