Hi everyone..
need a little help in finding this item..
the foot rest..
mine is lose as hell and cant be tightened up due to the locking thing'ies not doing there job.
so i need a replacement. i would hate to think what nissan will charge for one but i wonder if there
could be an alternative? tired ebay but nothing there.
dont want to remove it as there is a hole in the carpet where it would be...
thought i would ask on here as some of you guys come up with some brilliant stuff...
failing this then its off to nissan...

next thing..
i get a lot of heat coming in to the cab from around the center console, it almost gets unbearable ..
if i have the windows closed and aircon on its fine but i love my windows down when driving.
any way to stop this heat coming up? it worries me as this heat comes near my switches for my spotties. the plastic on the drive side ( right where i rest my leg whilst i have my foot on my rocking foot rest !! lol ) does get very hot.
so any ideas please???
thank you in advance
Mal :D

by your description the heat is a problem indeed .
sounds like a rubber cover is broken or missing, keeping heat and water out of the cabin.

There's not much on their site, you're better off calling them or dropping them an email. They're pretty damn helpful.

Surely the gear box shouldn't be giving out that much heat to make it unbearable. When were the gearbox and transfer oils checked and or changed?

the guy quoted me $800 for the service. seems like alot but he said theres alot to be done,,

not the gearbox so much but the heat from engine bays travelling down the tunnel is the problem
