Seems like a lot of people are getting into these stoves so thought I'd start a thread to put some tips n tricks out there.

so if you have a had a success, why not share it with the details, type of food cooked and times etc maybe also the type of oven eh DSE 12v etc.

Pizza subs are Messy! Don't do it if yor traveling rough roads!!

Lasagna works.

Lives,
Pies heated upside down is the to.
Chicken strips,
Jam donuts are Ace!

Anything you can cook at home then freeze into foil trays will go straight in.
Lean cuisine! Any precooked dinners in trays out of the freezer.

Anything from the fridge.

The new thermostat control would allow you to bake a cake though I reckon.!!

I reckon roast pork and gravy from the night before in a roll and wrapped in foil would be the goods:-)

No foil... toasted ham and cheese are bloody beautiful in these warmers.

I find party pies and sausage rolls are also good while on the move as they are easy to eat.

Test run with toasties today.

From frozen. Trying to figure out timings for when I'm working out bush. So made the cheese n salami. Wrapped in foil. Froze.

Turned on stove from cold and frozen sanga in. 20 each side. Bloody ripper.

Have found through experience this week pies from frozen in Dick Smith oven need 50 mins one side, 45 mins the other.

How long do they take in travel buddy?

Cheers
