Oil leak between the bottom of the engine and the sump

Hi,

I'm looking at buying a Patrol and one that I looked at had an oil leak between the bottom of the engine and the sump, should I be concerned about that as it could be the start of something worse or is it just a matter of having it fixed and she'll be right? Does it indicate that it's been driven hard or had a hard life or maybe not maintained properly?

It's a 2003 GU III ST MY2003 ZD30 Auto with 235,000km

Mmmmm well I had a closer look at this one and there is oil leaking from the crimping around the Intercooler and there's milky gunk under the oils cap so I won't be buying that time bomb.
